Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy services are provided by physiotherapists (referred by registered medical practitioners) who conduct rehabilitation assessments and treatment services. They develop personalized rehabilitation and physiotherapy plans for elderly individuals, allowing them to receive professional treatment and training in a familiar environment. This helps improve their physical condition, enhance functional recovery, delay functional decline, and improve quality of life.
Physiotherapists will create rehabilitation exercise training plans based on the individual circumstances of the elderly. These can be assisted by physiotherapy assistants, health workers, or personal care assistants, with regular assessments and adjustments to the training plans conducted by the physiotherapist.
Physiotherapy services can help elderly individuals improve (but are not limited to) the following physical conditions:
